Description
This role is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function; lead performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, compliance, compensation/benefits and effective labor relationships, including negotiating and administering labor agreements. Create and implement an HR business strategy plan to deliver all HR services efficiently across their region/area in order to support overall business objectives. Align with Ascent Hospitality Values and drive Culture through the consistent development and implementation of organizational development programs, employee orientation and training programs.


Requirements
5 -10 years+ of Human Resource Leadership experience in Hospitality required.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Exhibit values alignment.
Experience with various HR software tools; tech savvy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize effectively
Ability to work independently, taking initiative to support team goals
Experience overseeing multiple properties

Prepare and distribute various reports on HR metrics to ensure needs are being met. Assist in evaluating effectiveness of programs and systems in place: Turnover, Hiring time, Training Hours, Recognition programs, and other relevant reports available.
Oversee the local benefit plan and annual review.
Oversee the Worker’s Compensation program, claims and ensure compliance.
Manage equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies.
Annually review and make recommendations to owner, People & Culture & executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance.
Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all employee matters.
Communicate changes in the organization's policies and procedures and ensure that proper compliance is followed.
Ensure all issues are resolved ethically and within company policies and legal guidelines. Educate, coach and develop leaders to help prevent future issues.
Facilitate training of Ascent programs, HR initiatives and other trainings as needed.
Administer the annual review, preparation and administration of the wage and incentive program.
Partner with General Managers/Regional Operations to ensure employee feedback via surveys, exit interviews and other meetings are communicated and responded to.
